Checkout

The checkout will show a list of products that the customer has placed in their shopping basket.

The continue shopping button will take the user to the shop's starting point to purchase more items. This button can be enabled in the Checkout page. This button is off by default.

The introduction text can be entered in the Checkout page

The customer can change the quantity of each product they have ordered or the item can be removed from the basket by clicking the bin icon. The order total is automatically calculated.

If you do not want to display the prices on the checkout you can disable them in the Checkout page

Pro Users: If gift wrap is being offered it will be shown under the product list.

If delivery methods have been entered a popup menu for the delivery country and method will be added. The delivery charge will automatically be calculated based on the order value / weight / number of items.

The VAT will automatically be calculated based on the delivery country. VAT is added if the customer is buying from within the EEC. If VAT has been included in the list prices, the VAT total will be displayed for EEC orders and removed for non-EEC orders.

Extra checkboxes can be added to collect more information. These checkout options should collect product related data that does not impact the cost of the order. Checkout options can be enabled in the Checkout page

If terms and conditions have been entered they will be shown between the order total and the make order button so the user must see them before placing their order.

Clicking on Make Order button will take the customer into the Invoice Details page
