The product summary text appears on the products list page. It should be a short piece of text that summarised what the product is.

Although it is possible to enter a large amount of text in the product summary it is not recommended. Keep the text short and to the point. If the customer wants to read more about the product they will be able to click for more details. Put the main text description in the description field.

The products summary text is optional. If no product summary text is entered the products will be displayed using the picture only format.
